Animal Medical Center of Orland Park provides high-quality grooming and boarding facilities for your furry friend. We know that regular bathing, brushing, and nail trimming can be a massive undertaking with some pets. For pets & pet parents that hate the stress of bath or brushing time, the experienced staff at Animal Medical Center is here to help!

Our professional grooming specialists groom all breeds of dogs; however, we are unable to groom cats that are new to our facility at this time.

We also provide a clean, comfortable place to board your pet if you can't take them with you on vacation. Don't stress out about finding the perfect person to watch your family member or your pet's unique needs while you're away. Dogs:

Dogs must have all of the following vaccinations prior to being groomed in our facility.

  • Rabies
  • Distemper/Hepatitis/Parainfluenza/

Parvovirus

  • Bordetella (every 6 months)
  • Fecal test
  • Canine Influenza (H3N8 & H3N2)
  • If your dog has never had the canine influenza vaccine before, a series of 2 boosters is required. The first booster must be completed 7-14 days before the grooming appointment. The second booster is due 14-21 days after the first.

Cats:

Cats must have all of the following vaccinations prior to being groomed in our facility.  Only cats that have previously been groomed at our facility can be groomed at this time.

  • Rabies
  • Distemper/Rhinotracheitis/Calicivirus
  • Bordetella (every 6 months)
  • Fecal test

Other Boarding Requirements

Animal Medical Center boards dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, and other small reptiles. Small reptiles must fit in an aquarium that you bring in with you for the duration of their stay. For all exotic animals (any pet besides a dog or cat), you must provide all housing, bedding, food, special lighting (if any) -- everything they would use at home. 

We do not board any aquatic animals.
